Dredd is the current Chief of Staff for the 2012 Democratic Nominating Convention Committee. He previously served as special assistant to the Secretary at the U.S. Department of Energy and as Deputy Director for the Office of the Vice President-elect on the 2008 Presidential Inaugural Committee. Dredd was active in the 2004 Democratic National Convention where he was the Deputy Hall Manager. He also worked on the Presidential campaigns of John Kerry in 2004 and Al Gore in 2000.
