Counts is a government affairs consultant and activist in Washington, DC., and was elected a delegate at the 2012 Republican National Convention representing the District of Columbia. He is the D.C. Campaign Co-Chair for Gov. Mitt Romney’s Presidential campaign. He previously served as Chairman of the Washington D.C. Young Republicans, who won the 2010 Young Republican State Federation of the Year award during his tenure. Additionally, Counts served as the Chairman of the Young Republican National Federation’s (YRNF) Education Committee and the Co-Chair of the YRNF’s 2010 Young Republican Leadership Conference.
